i do not know about this...sometimes you will find a flat rock with a large circle engraved, and a spout like engraving from one point off the circle....those were made to manufacture lye (Potassium hydroxide) from woodash, most farms made their own lye, and it was said back in the old days you could pay for your land with the wood ash created after clearing it if you made lye....a barrel full of straw was laid on the stone with the circle, said circle directed water flow as water was slowly poured over the straw on which wood ash was regularly deposited from fires...what leached out the bottom and ran off via the engraved spout would dry and become pure lye and could easily be sold....the circle in this rock is too small and at an angle though, soooooo....good luck...b

That's right, Billder wouldn't LYE to us. He is our friend. Funny. That's some good info for people that like to relic hunt. Find one of those, and you have a possible relic site.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

Jugging by the sheer size of this rock and the fact that it's lava rock I'd estimate it to well over three ton's, so without the proper tools and know how I can't see him just turning it over, then there's that every rock formation in your country is a treasure sign yet I've only seen two in five years that could have been one. If you took more time reading about rock formations and how they come to be you would not have told him to turn it over nor would you be digging holes 6 m deep endangering your live and the lives of others. A bit of common sense does go a long way when treasure hunting and could save some poor fellows life, and then you wonder why you get these type of responses but in reality your're looking for them. Research is the answer when you do not want to talk a load of nonsense you should try it sometime.

No I've never been there.   Nothing Righteous coming from this corner of the world.  Just gets old seeing the same photos, same scams over and over and over again.   Rocks are Rocks .   Over the years, I've seen the same FRB's, Rock photos under a number of user names asking the same question yet again.  Go to the start of the Yami thread and start reading.   You will see what I talking about.

You've got that all Bass Ackwards, If you Do A Search here you will Find that there are Hundreds of Threads and 1000s of posts about this kind of stuff Along with the FRB crap and 000s of Yamashita posts, Why Do you people keep asking the same stupid question instead of reading the 000s of posts here.

Its got Nothing to do with Americans So Keep a Civil Tongue in ya head, Like the rest of the world We are not Dreamers and our Knowledge Base is Built On Facts Not BS Stories from PI people trying to make them selves Look Big.

1st off Do some real Research, and don't ask us to do it for you then complain because you don't like the Answer.

2nd Like I said there are 000s of posts here on this subject Go and Look for them.

well obviously ther is a lot of lava rock, and dont you think it would make sense to hide somthing under a difficult to move rock, just a thought mate.

ps i have personally seen 4 approx 6.2 kg bars recovered from under a fairly large rock with just such a circle mark my belief is these small deposites were  used to finance the recovery of larger hard to get ones.
