You're welcome , Steveo. BTW, I noticed u hit a coal seam...there's treasures in coal too in the form of amber; and pieces of translucent amber with insects or other animals in them can be worth a bit of $.  Wink

Yep your right,I know of a few mines in northeastern W.Va where miners have found petrified trees and outlines of huge insects from millions of moons ago.My dad was on a crew that found a petrified palm like tree. The coal company had some eggheads come down from Pittsburg to check it out still in the mine.they said it was one hell of a find.
The way I see it is miners are the greatest detectorist ever,it's all right there surrounding them. You just got to keep your eyes open.  Shocked

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Who needs a metal detector? I'm just going to get me one of them telescopes, the treasure finding turtle and while I'm at it I might as well get one of those fancy compasses that points to what you want most. With all those items on my side there wouldn't be a treasure in the world that I couldn't find Cheesy

if I only knew where to get the compass I could find the rest of the items I need. Guess I will just have to break out the detector and try to find it. We will have to put our plan for world treasure domination on hold til then. Sad
