if true you found the katana or the officers blade it has a serial numbers that corresponds to the holder. if so, you have found the treasure. you can returned that blade to japanese govt they will identify the holder.at your own expenses in returning those things and they will reward you a plaque for a good finder.maybe some money. i'm not sure to the money. but maybe the family will give.
