Hi! Am the new gal in town, Beth!!! Haven't read anything yet from gals so I must be the first lady of TH? Have been reading entries regarding Japanese treasures in the Philippines as myths...I guess they are if a person has never personally encountered anything about it. I was a bit cynical when one of my brothers-in-law started digging for these in the 1990's  and another in the early 2000's. I hven't heard results from them. All I know is, both of them have been secretive about this. But one of them bought a huge, beautiful house and opened a college of nursing. Early this year, my turn came...and I decorated some signs taken from the digs in my garden!!! Will post the pictures next time. Our project's still going, and I believe almost there!

 hi beth,
watch out you might be lost on signs that you see, remember japs are very clever they will put artifacts & signs to mislead people, japs burried their stuff on (L) position, means if you see artifacts & signs under the ground it means the area is positive but you are not at the center.

hi bong...thanks for the reply...just to let you know, the tunnel we're clearing (not digging or breaking rocks) is manmade. all we've been doing is clearing the tunnel from clayish soil with small broken fossilized coral. the tunnel has rock walls, some made as stepping stones for use to go down.
