Golden Eagle is right about the water trap. I had the same problem with posting images that are too large.

You are right. The feeder pipe(s) from the water trap reservoir can also be terra cotta or steel, and not necessarily bamboo pipes or concrete ones.

do you belived those stories about yamashita gold? if so, why historians and experts in philippines don't believed they have their authentic explanations. yamashita tales were only the scapegoats of FM but pilipinos made it big story to be used in scams to make money. others they make it dreams if they found the gold.

ram,

Hi Rbelino,
Ya we had the same problem, the water trap usually has a reservoir of water feeding the water trap usually located at a slightly higher location to that of the the site. In our case we built a wall between the shaft wall where the water was coming in, and used two pumps to keep the level down. But this is not the only solution.
You must find the source of the water which is usually a man made pool or small lake with thousands of litres of water stored in it! In a tunnel or cave system higher up the hill or mountain. The water is piped into the shaft via bamboo pipes or concrete ones. Cut off the source here and you will be OK.
send me your email add. and I will send you a drawing to your solution. tried to attach here but file is too big!
Good Luck.
God Bless

Golden Eagle
