Well the second time water hunting today was loads better then the first which was last week and only produced 1 Silver ring and .60 cents.
Today's tally was 1 18ct gold ring with stones 1 9ct gold wedding ring 1 9ct gold ear ring 2 Sterling silver rings and 1 cute Sterling silver horse .
A surprise find was the 1927 penny which was in great condition that was down a good 12 inches $9.60 and a few sinkers..

Raoul, was this in salt water? The coins look much better than what I normally find there.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hi Raoul.

Congratulations on your find. But unfortunately it leaves me with a lot of questions, hope you don't mind answering it.

I am looking to replace my "toy" MD and it seems to me that the finds are much more in the water, did you dive for this treasure or did you wade?

In the second photo I see that you have cleaned the rings so well, that I can see your reflection on the earring. Did you use electrolysis to clean them?

NSC,the flip scoop was my fathers idea! after seeing my friends bulky scoop he decided to make a better one for me and he came up with the swivel action on the bucket. After my friends saw mine they copied the idea and all of them think its great to use...

Hi Flamtech,we wade out to neck deep water and for cleaning the jewelry I use a bench grinder fitted with buffing wheels, coarse and fine and a fine cutting compound especially for gold and silver.
Also use a Ultrasonic cleaner and when I have heaps of coins to clean I use a Lortone tumbler..
