bigger coils tend to go deeper for bigger deep targets  & cover more ground faster ---however they have draw backs --if you are in a trashy area due to their large size they may pick up more than one target at a time --say a big iron item and a small silver coin --well the big iron will ring up "masking" the small silver coin

now smaller coils do not go as deep but they slide in between the junk better than big coils--picking out good signals in the junk--- of course they cover less ground due to their smaller  size --often they can get closer to tot lot equpitment than big coils can.

Hi.I want to make DD coil for tesoro bandido II.could anybody tell me all data about how to do?I read many forums,but I can't find a good info about coil winding.thanx.
