That's right, Xavier. Tiggers bounce. And, the most wonderful thing about tiggers is, Tigger is the only one!

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I dont use Tiggers, but what i use is 100ft-200ft of thin nylon string and push a wooden steak in then ground dont us a BBQ'd steak coz you might wanna eat it after all that walking,
Now walk a 100 or 200ft letting out the string now tie the string to the second steak now turn 90degs and walk the same distance again then turn 90degs again and keep doing the same until you get back to the first steak then take a reading with the GPS at every steak, if you set up the box you have steaked out north/south--east / west the when you walk left then the east/west will change  and likewise with the north / south. when you take the readings press the mark setting and then press the average which gives the GPS a chance to pick the closest true readings,

Now if you move 10ft right and bang another steak in the ground then you should be able to walk to the string opposite by keeping your east/west reading the same then only your north/south reading should change,

I use the Garmin GPS 76 which has a massive user functions and its a pushover to use, the garmin GPS 72 is what i want to buy as a backup and its the same as the 76 amd they both have a large display, they are marine based GPS's and they are great,

I hope this helps and im here if you want to know more

all the best AU

yes Xavier, thats the GPS 72, The 76 is white in colour and i think the 76 has a world city data base, apart from that i think they the same and you can set it up the way that suits your needs, ie you can have 9 lots of differant data on the screen at once or just one with the co-ordinates on as it draws you a map,

Xavier, on these two models you can zoom in on the screen from around 500 miles right down to 20 feet which really helps when you are trying to get right in on the spot where you need to be, if i'm using it in the landrover i set it to 1.2 miles or sometimes 3 miles so it can cope with the speed im traveling at, I have bought many of these things and this one seemed to be the most useful in all situations, hope this helps.
