Whats that Homefire, RTTY? 60 baud on the ole Kleinshmidt? Or too much CW.....

LOL!   Not quite that bad.   We had Baudot Code 300 baud. Later it was 56kbt Woooooo!   Only Base commanders had that stuff. AutoVon phones being 4 wire used 2600hz and 2800hz for signaling on and off hook conditions.    We would get pounded with it at least a dozen times a day.  +10 dbm rattles the brain most well.

i use headphones most of the times out md, the reasons are saves on batteries and doesnt cause noise for other people to hear . in my opinion just a cheap 5-10 dollar set of  headphones works for me.  your just listening to differents beeps and tones that the detector makes .

I use the Sunray Pro Gold's for my F75 and have a rough time without them. Had an issue in the Fall during a hunt and threw in the towel because the place was trashy and I couldn't hear the tones that I was accustomed to.

I sent them in for warranty repair and while they were gone I went out and bought a second pair for a spare because nothing else would do. Great service and a great product.

Hi,
I like the "NASCAR" scanner headphones made by Vanco, they have extra sound blocking (for race engine noise/wife also).   has Volume adjustment on the headphones so I can crank up the detector output, and can tune down if I find something (think I have) so I can pull the phones over my ears, or if talking and not change anything on the detector----- also got cheep just under 25% of retail on eBay new in ugly colors...but I can't see them on anyway...

I use Killer Bees. They use top quality parts throughout their products. I really notice the different sounds my detector produces. They have custom built two pair of headphones for me in stereo for my Nautilus detectors. Finally, you can't beat the leather ear pads for all day hunting.
