hey KARL the nascar boys are running close to my stompin grounds this weekend . History tid bit . if you ever go to that track if you find Jackson trace road it runs behind the front stretch on west side of speed way and ends at the speedway boulevard across the boulevard there is a old stone marker marking were OLD HICKORY was camped story has it this was what i was told and passed down through my family though i wasnt around back then but i have seen the marker a slave boy stumbled across the indians camp aproximatly 10 miles south of there in what is now the town of Talledega. and he led Jackson to their camp were there was a great battle . at battle street Close to the Davey Allison walk of fame there is a memorial to the battle and the great Tennesseeans Jackson and crocket sam houston as well though not sure if he was from Tennessee but its on the north east side across the road from the walk of fame . if you go the area were OLD HICKORY was camped would be worth a look the whole speed way grounds would be a great spot to hunt for a club or somthin like that it would tke years for an individual to search it all but they been racin since 69 / 70 so no tellin whats there , but the camp is in a smaller area of private ground or was the speedway has bought up alot of the farms and houses and made parking and campin areas way bigger than they was when i was a kid . thought i would pass this along to you and the A.R.T. if your ever in the area it may turn up a relic .doubt if its ever been searched . thats how the road got its name Jackson trace i have an Uncle that lives on that road . josey

Wow, Josey never realized all that History was there. thanks for the info.

I wonder if anyone would Grant permission to MD there, I know at Nashville Superspeedway and the old nashville track , they don't allow MD ing, same with bristol property , and the folks who own the Campgrounds and other parking lots around the track that I know of none of them allow any MD either.

Not sure why but they don't.

I did get a little compensation today , I got a Fish to go along with my Vodka Skulls and Tequilla Colt 45 Pistol ,, it's a Brandy Fish Shocked

yeah I know for a guy who doesn't drink I sure do have a weird collection of alcohol !

Well we now have 2 cribs 3 strollers 2 play pens 3 car seat carriers, 2 baby bounce seat's and 2 bassinets and 1 high chair so far and a booster seat and a baby swing - the Garage is running out of room !! Cry

Some of you may already know....Fort Bragg got hit my a tornado. My nephew's family lives there but there home was spared. No elec. or running water at this time though. If you all have family or freinds there you might check on um. Our prays are with all those effected....

Thanks Cache , John is floating around here somewhere , Homie has been in and out all day, Josey is safe as he was here earlier today, havent heard from Pat or Jere or Zul or P - Jim, and I have seen our friendly flat foot BA wandering around also, haven't seen or heard from Seldom today either, so we have 5 that are

On a Positive Note , I sent Jere a Pm and he sent me back a PM, They are all fine no Damages , Lots of nasty stuff all around him but they are Ok !! Ya'll Keep Jere in ur Prayer's if u Pray as he starts that new Job on Monday !! I am really Proud for him. wish there were enough Jobs to go around for everyone who needs one.
