It's  raining here.  Got back home around 11pm .
Helen Georgia is a beautiful little alpine German Village.
I got a new cuckoo clock and some other things for Christmas gifts for family.
But ate at almost every German restaurant in town. 
The hoffers house bakery and cafe / restaurant  is awesome best food in town.

The Heidelberg restaurant above the bier court.  SUCKS! DO NOT EAT THERE!

Every one should visit at least once it's absolutely beautiful.

I hear there a village in Oregon thats also great alpine village.  I've yet to go there.

I'm in Oregon and I don't know about an Alpine village in Oregon.  But, there is a great one in central Washington, named Leavenworth, that is great.  Wife and I have made several trips to it, including and Octoberfest a couple of years ago.  Visit if you can!!  Great experience.
