One of tbe language features you will like is the "Pulsein" command. It can give you the width of a pulse down to about 25 uS.

Two things to note here.

You should have mentioned you wanted an Arduino. I probably have 50 of them here in a variety of flavors. Quicker than ordering from overseas.

There are plenty of programming tutorials for the Arduino and quite a few YouTube videos. You can learn the basics from the documentation that comes with the IDE (Integrated Device Environtment).

Both of those plus you can always ask under the tech forum.

Well I now posses a Certified, Bona Fide, With Out Dought One Type Each Enhanced Gold Locating   Device.  A Whites GMT ! Whhhhhhhhoooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooo!

Our Jon, Cut me a deal only the Most Foolish of Fools would had Refused.   Shipped on the 18th of Nov it arrived at my door on the 22nd in what would appear to be some sort of UPS Record.
