LOL   All But Gone.  Still welted on the Sting Site but the Hand is better.   If I make the mistake of Itching it , it starts itching Real Bad.  Yesterday I held a bag of Frozen peas for a while to kill the itch.  This morning it was a lot better.   The other day I had to do Forced Labor on the Wanda Mobil. AKA Her Pony !   Using the Socket pissed it off most well.   I think that worked out some of the Venom.   :Smiley

I had a bee come straight in to my crash helmet in OZ and the bugger stung me right behind the ear, right where that gland is and it made the side of my head go numb, the swelling lasted for about 3 days or more, so I know how you feel,

LOL   I had that happen.    Had a Full Coverage Bell Helmet.  Visor Up.   Seen a Black Dot come at me.  Hit me in the forehead and ended up stuck in the Shoulder of my Jacket.  Stinging the Be Jeeeze out of me.  Didn't know you could down shift a Honda 750  Come to a Full Stop without clutching holding a Wasp away from you with the Left hand from 70 to 3 MPH.   That Bug was going to Town on me.

I bet everyone here has a bee sting story or two. I think they are aliens put here to pxxx everyone off. Could bee (pun intended). I've seen them inside crashed UFOs. My story is I was mowing the lawn in the spring back east and it was unusually warm. I popped open(no pun intended) a pop can and after swigging half of it I set it on the window sill for later. Another 15 minutes and I was ready for more. I lifted it up and took a gullop, and suddenly 2 bees were in my mouth and I spit them out promptly, but not before the stung my tongue. Talk about fire. Within a few minutes my tongue swelled up and I had trouble breathing. I went to the hospital, and they gave me some kind of shot and some of the swelling went down, but not enough to enable for me to talk intelligently. Try pressing your tongue against the roof of your mouth and try to say a few words, and you can see what I am talking about. It took3 days for the swelling to go down. My advice is to give bees a comfortable margin of space. They are aliens.

A bad day at gold prospecting or metal detecting is better than a good day at work.

yeah I know how that feels, I braked that had I almost slid up the Tank, between the bees and the damn spiders building webs across the road and getting hit with one of them that's 5 or 6 inches across changed my mind about night riding  Angry

Ahh   Loved that bike. Always sounded like a sports car.  Never got stung on a bike but one time in Northern Japan was doing about 100kph and they have these 4" or so flying beetles with shells like a rock ..... One smacked me in the knee. Thought I took a 357 round through the kneecap!!!

Which reminds me..... What's the last thing that enters a bugs mind when it hits the windshield of a car at 80 mph?

  They leave a Mark.

I hit a  javelina on that bike .  Don't know how I didn't go down.  Ended up blasting through a 5 strand barbed wire fence.  Top strand just cought my Handle Bars .  It would had Cheese Cut me if it was a few inches higher.
