Not a lot in last 2 days. Two of my finds from Saturdays finds won 2nd prize in my detector club show & tell whiche netted me a 1907 D Barber quarter and a 1909 D Barber quarter. I 'm happy. It was for the ring and the cell phone.

Our car is DEAD MEAT !  Blown Head Gasket.  Not worth the money to fix I think.  Soooooooo   No Car till the Tax money comes in.

Blown head gasket doesn't necessarily  mean the car is toast. As long as the rest of the car is fairly good, it will be cheaper to fix than buying a used car. I had both head gaskets go last year, $ 650. About 3 times that for a good used car.

    Head Gasket is a Major Indever on the Dodge. Have to pull the Balance off the Crank .  Timing Gear of the Cam.  On and On.   Hell if we did work on it we would have to put in a new water pump, Timing Belt and who knows what.  We would better off finding a banger some place.  One of the CV joints is on it's way out.  A few other annoying things.   It's a 98 with something like 170,000 miles on it.  There made to Hall Azz. Not Last.  Dodge Sucks on things like the Water Pump.  You have to pull the Timing Belt to get to them.  WTH Huh??

Well, like I said, if the rest of it is ok it would  be woth it. But it sounds like it is junkyard time. Part out what you can, and sell the rest to the scrap yard.
