Over a month ago I exchanged 1250 gold points for a 10 centisimi Spanish coin (view my inventory) at the shop, but I have not recieved anything yet. I PMed Christian about it, but he has not responded yet, either. How does this trade thing work? At least I think I deserved a response about the order's status? I mean, that would motivate me to visit the shop more often and post more often to get more points.  Sad

I have never had a response from him , it has been many months ago, I have just give up on the shop thing!!
mine was a Beer Token  Token for 0.5 liters of beer. Rare piece. Probably from WWII.

OK Guys here is the Deal , this forum doesn't generate the funds it needs to pay for the shipping from Europe to the states and all over etc, so what happens is when u buy something from the store it sits till there is enough funds generated to pay for the shipping.

Everyone remembers back a few months ago when Christian asked for funds to help run the forum being that all this comes out of his pocket and No One Donated a Dime , there is only one paying sponsor for this forum and it is "Minelab" so until Christian gets enough funds to pay for the new dedicated server he put the Forum on etc, there is not going to be the funds to ship items out of the store.

Sorry but that's how it works and why it's taking so long.

It wasn't the fact of the answer being good or bad.....we just wanted a answer.
I was not really complaining or mad , but it would of been nice to get a reply that you gave and not be wondering. thank you for checking in Karl.

It is understandable. I was not in this forum when Christian made the announcement for contributions, but I recently made a small contribution for I understand that it is just fair to do so for all we get out of this great forum. I think that if we "purchase" items from the store, we should also pay for the shipping and handling in cash. Actually, every item should carry a s/h charge that we are to pay either by sending the cash or through paypal, the very same way we make contributions. I'm willing to cover the s/h for my coin if possible, just tell me how much it is. It is just not fair for Christian to pay for s/h out of his pocket or to wait until funds come in who knows when  No no!. Thank you for the reply Karl  Clapp
