Egor and I went back to the laboratory and asked mr. Frank Enstein (our boss) about it. He said heat index is measured by temp and humidity, or temp and dew point. Then a regression formula is used to find the index. If  the humidity is less than 13% or the temp is greater than 80 deg F then a correction formula is used on the result. That's when Egors brain blew a fuse and his lights went out. Forget regression my idea is simpler, like me and Egor.

That's just what I'm going to do. Heading to Florida. That's if the wind dies down and the #$#@$ blizzards quit coming once a week. Last night got called out to a substation where a 22 MVA transformer decided to trip off. The temp was so low the already low oil shrunk enough to trip off the unit. The wind was around 25 mph and the temp was -8F (-22C). I use Sorels. Great boots. Heavy duty rubber with 1/2" special insulated liners.   Trouble is my fingers got frostbit one time in Korea and now the cold really smarts the ole pinkies. That's it...... the dual field just went into the suitcase......
