They were off the air for awhile, and now with a new show name called (Savage Family Diggers) they air tonight on Spike Network on TV.

Naturally this show could be of some interest and atleast entertaining to us, so enjoy.  Great

Hey I agree on those points, and figured maybe they changed their approach, but they still don't seem to make the hobby look too good to the public.

show seems staged.............there another show called "Diggers" that seems a bit more realistic,its watchable except for the language they use....nectar,juice,roundness,even that i can take but watching savage,can't do it

I personally don't care for most of those shows but do watch some of them. In my opinion Swamp Hunters is more realistic but only watch 2 of them so may be way off base.

I agree on those points of observation!  Shocked

The Rolex find was too much, in solid ground and the watch actually appears in better than expected condition? yea right...
I enjoy Diggers much better.

Anyway, I posted this just to let anyone know that their new show was airing, and whether one likes or dislikes the show wasn't my reason for posting it.

I'm sure some folks enjoy those show or they would not be Aired.  

Problem is if you are a MD Person, those shows have a Direct link to the Rash of New Detecting Regulations and Park Closures.

Just like  after the Gold Mining shows tons of folks get the Idea it's just out there for the Finding.

They end up doing Ignorant Stuff causing waves with the Forest Folks, BLM and even Private Property Owner putting unneeded pressures on people that go about it the Correct ways.

this show was part of the reason theres no more detecting in il forest preserves  the board here watched the show last year.....between that and the u-tube videos of our local guys digging in the fps............. No no! No no! No no! No no!

And all of those reasons are why I'd rather watch "American Pickers" than any of the metal detecting/treasure hunting shows.   American Pickers has even come in handy a few times.
