I didn't one to quit,  Angry but my batteries died and I was way too far from my truck to replace them  and so called it for the day. But this week the saga continues until I get them all.  Detecting

Grin I use a 7AH battery which is a total overkill when you think that my consumption is 200mA but it was the only battery that I could get at the time. But do get your self a back pack you wont regret it.

The nice thing about a backpack is you don't even know that you have it on after a while also bending down with things in the pocket can be a real pain and I mean that literally.

I used to use a shoulder sling but now use a combat belt with pouches on it. The sling was over the head and one shoulder so you could swing it around in front of you but it got to be too filled making it too hard to find things. The belt is awesome.

Yes GD you have a point there also on the combat belt you can slide the pockets where you want them to be and thats a great advantage.

One other thing, mate - the belt is padded so it is just so comfy.
