	Ace 350 arrived today « on: January 21, 2011, 09:44:28 pm »

The man in the brown truck showed up with my new Ace 350. My daughter and I had to get it out and start searching the front yard. We only found a piece of lead junk, before it got dark, but we had fun. The 350 seems like it is going to work out pretty well, though I have much to learn. We are going to try out a few play grounds and swimming areas tomorrow. I'm all ears if someone has advise on the 350 or just m.detecting in general.

compass 77B manual- Garrett ACE 350

I got my new ACE350 yesterday, read the manual and took it to the local park today. I have a compass 77b since 1974, had a whites 6000D that was stolen and used my son whites spectrum XLT which was to complicated for me, I can tell you this ACE350 is a great machine. In about an hour I found 6 pennys (3 wheats) 1 dime (silver) 1 quarter (clad) 2 twist off caps, all where at least 6" to 8"under a layer of wet bark. This park has someone in it almost every day hunting, yet I found 3 wheats and 1 silver dime that have been there for years and no one else found them. Once I get a better handle on this machine, I expect to locate a lot of items others have missed.

There is a great review on "Lost Treasure online" for the ACE350, whice is why I bought one. Good luck hunting. Bob Wise
