I have been using the AT Gold since it got released. It is not the AT Pro. I got it for under water nugget hunting. The machine is very sensitive to small nuggets. I have not found any gold with it yet but I have dug a lot of small pieces of lead bird shot. The area I live in has pretty hot ground and the AT Gold does a good job handling the mineralization. I hunt in all metal mode most of the time, but I have tried the other 2 modes for coin hunting. I prefer the first disc mode over the last one because it disc too much out. The machine gets relay good depth for an 18 kHz detector. The things I dont like about it are, it lacks a back lit screen and maybe the ability to set my own notch disc on the 2 coin modes.
