You will love it! I hate to dig, and after digging my hole, it lets me find where else I need to go to find my target. Listen to the sounds... that way you will not risk the chance of nicking a coin.

I even got a 2nd one since my husband has started this hobby with me. His MD is a 13 year old Radio Shack that doesn't give the depth. I will have to say is MD locates more targets than mine, but it doesn't tell tell him how many inchs down it is. Since he has his own Pin pointer he is not hogging mine all the time!
