Oddly enough, that is a forum feature in all SMF forums. Our non-delete policy keeps even the posts from the worst nuts on the planet here forever. Since you and Haven are one and the same person, you are revealing your true nature with this post. Anyone reading this should be afraid. Very afraid.

Did you think you were circumventing the moderators here with this advice? Shamey, shamey!

More assumptions !! It is not possible for two people to use the same computer / ip address.

What should we be afraid of ?

Something fishy is going on when one person feels the need to be two fake identities who defend each other against authority. We moderators have a pretty tough job watching over this place without someone going to the extremes of having more than one identity so they can continue to harass us when they have been muted in their primary identity.

What on earth has earned you a warning and from whom did you receive it?

First off yes you can have 2 or more accounts using the same computer and IP address. Most mods have a second account as our screen is different then  regular accounts so we need to log in under a regular account at times  to help folks.
Goldenboy this is the type of post that got you a warning. You need to worry about the treasure threads and stay out of mod business your need to get evolved in every controversial thread against the mod team needs to end.

Here is an assumptions if you keep at it you will be outside.

Hi Goldenboy. My quick answer is it is not Spanish.

I truly thought Haven lost it after he posted the pictures. I felt maybe he was inexperienced. I have never known him to be mean spirited. So I would say his comments were carryovers from another forum that has no place here. Seldom and and the Mods have never led me wrong or let me get on the wrong path. A lot of us come here for that credibility.

I have added Spanish Trail signs to my study. I prospect and figure when i find a Spanish trail, to stop and crevice a bit to see if I can find any color. Research will get you a long way. I use Geological history, records of finds, even plants, to help me identify a good spot for detecting. Most of which can be found in the Research section of my library. The big books you cant check out.

The pictures presented are most likely not Spanish, Indian, French, or KGC. I am trying to help here Goldenboy, not argue or prove a point. There is a possible new trail that is popping up and you dont hear much about it. Would make a lot more sense. I dont have enough info or any reference to put it out there so I will leave it alone for another day.

So we know it is most likely not a Spanish Trail. Is there anything we can add here, with some historical reference to back it up?

I suspect haven has not found the treasure. I encourage Haven to follow his instinct. Document, and if he is willing, share his finds. He can share his folly's too. The only treasure book or magazine I have in my house was given to me by a friend who found a a old 1970's copy of a treasure magazine. I have not read it. It may actually have some value on ebay. Someday Im gonna buy me some of those books and see what I missing. I doubt very much, the results will be the same, lol.

Good Luck Haven

For those of you still thinking this still a possible treasure sign, you need to fully read everything on the web link I provided. If you only read parts of the webpage you may draw the conclusion that the researchers were not certain of what the symbols meant. They tested several hypotheses and systematically rejected them. The conclusion was stated, and along with the basis for support. The only thing this specific symbol may have to do with treasure is possible travel routes where things would be stashed.

Yes, Thanks RIS. I just dont have the time to reference everything. I dont know how they dated that. But I would say early 1800's give or take 200 years lol. Could be someone in the last 50 years using a very old technique. Or it could be a hoax.
