just in general how many wifes (spouses, mates) go along with you on your day trips? My wife was raised with 5 brothers she loves the outdoors,loves to hunt deer and fish,so prospecting and metal detecting just fits in.(NO SHE'S NOT OLD AND UGLY GEEEEZ GIVE ME A BREAK!!!) LOL

My wife is definitely an active participant (she figured we both needed exercise, but I wouldn't go to the gym with her so she went to the metal detecting club meetings and hunts with me). She's just about the only wife that regularly goes on the overnight club trips. And she usually winds up finding better "treasures" than I do when were out in the field together. She'll even go prospecting with me (although she usually doesn't go to the prospecting club meetings and group digs).

Mine will go the the beach get some sun and read a book. But when it comes to a week or two at a time on Padre or other places I spend extend time she is a NO

my wife used to go in the early days when i made it alot easier for her, these days i hike pretty far back and metal detect on the way out....see still gives me the moral support...and the words every male treasure hunter likes to hear "Find me something pretty".

Hitting the local parks and schools it's just me and the kid.

If we are going out of town to the mountains she loads up the truck and ask me if I ready yet.

She loves sitting under the tree and sipping coffee saying ARE WE RICH YET?

No Really she loves the out doors and finding cool old stuff. Pray
