Hi Sat Dave,
I will post a few pics of the machine, so you will see what I did, it wasn't the coil cable.
I extended the meter cable ,as I welded a hand grip like the more modern machines to improve balance......HH....Johnnn

Hi Sat Dave,
Here are a few pics of two of my Arado's, with modifications, if you have any thoughts re fixing them I will bring the 130 over with me on my next visit for you to zap it with your defibrillator...I have a 120 that is 38 years old had it since new but all that needs is a decent Christian burial....HH...Johnnn

Hi RR,
I still can't find it yet, people are talking about it/them but I scratch my head trying to find it.
Sounds expensive too my Tessoro is as good as my old Arado's so I would need to read a field test report to become a fan........HH....Johnnn

Well Johnnn I drew a blank on it too, maybe they are just teasing us ready release day, If it is a modern twist on their past machines it will be good because alot of people do hang on to their old faithfull 120s and sing their praise's.

Hi RR,
In the late 1970's we had a meating with "Paul Spence" he was the inventor of the Arado he came to the club I helped  found in the UK he set up a slide show showing the developement of the Arado metaldetector his experimental machine was some electronics attached to a "broom handle" after that we all ran out a bought this machine after he got to the 130 word came throught the grapevine that he had been taken up by the "Military" to work on machines that would detect "plastic land mines" and that eas the last time I heard of him.
  Sad Sad..........HH...Johnnn

Thanks for that info Johnnn I will try and find a home page on Him/or the company, that review looks pretty good they say it can find hammerd coins at 12" but I haven't seen anyone pull them from 7"+ so if it can do it, It must be pretty good but it costs well over £1200.00
