Thick, plain, silver ring.  Probably a plated ring, brass ring, and what's probably a gold-plated ametheyst earring.

Demon-skull pendant thing (anyone identify it closer?) from one side of the river, thimble from deep in the riverbank on the other side, and what I'm guessing is a luggage letter (forget where from).  I'll post some more images in the What Is It? forum a bit later.

Yeah, I have been busy, probably 4-6 hours a day.  When I said it was threatening my job, I wasn't kidding.  Yesterday, for example, went out for a couple hours before work, managed not to take off to go detecting at all in the middle of the day (which I've been doing much of the week), went out for a quick beer, and then detected until 12:45 a.m.  (Had a cop drive by and look at me funny but he kept on going.)  Something about this matches my addictive personality (as well as things like history, etc.).  I have to figure some method to limit myself and keep track of the time because I really loose track of time (more than usual) and tend to run way past when I plan to stop.  The "just one more" factor is pretty big too.  Any ideas for limiting oneself while doing this and keeping track of time?
