I'm glad you resurrected this one because it can be a lot of fun especially when we in New England are kind of house bound.

I once found a small treasure chest at a tot lot buried about a foot deep. Inside were some coins and a note from a pair of tiny pirates who planted it there. I dropped in a couple of coins and put it back.

Found a 1912 Silver Canadian 5 cent peace around the Camp Cody area here last year.

Funny thing was it was the Very day NM became a State in 1912!   Shocked

In 2012, I found a electro-mechanical thingy that had a male and female having sex. It was found in salt water and had corroded and it wouldn't work.

Howdy, all is ok. Keeping busy even at 69, work a part time job. Found 12 gold rings this year and a bunch of other stuff, including 3 guns, bunch of silver rings, loads of bullets, pounds of coins, and misc. stuff, mostly in the water. Of course now the water is at 38 degrees so my huntin is done till spring at least. I get on this site now and then, but don't post much anymore, usually too much to do every day. How it been with you?

Well, I became a neighbor of yours since we last communicated. Living in Mansfield, CT now waiting for things to warm up. I hope old Puxatawny Phil doesn't see his shadow next week. I'm predicting 9 more weeks before spring gets here. The wife and I might snowbird it next winter. Not sure yet.

Where do you live in CT?
