Empirical data, you get a gas receipt and you copy your mileage and then submit it online, the site does the rest!
What I am getting at is that is there something out there that would be similar to the benchmark test for all detectors that is impartial. I understand that a guy who has been using an Ace 250 for 20 years can do better that some newbie that just picked up an e-trac, but it would be nice to see a real benchmark test for detectors, and not sponsored by Garrett or White's or anything like that.
Is there anything out there, and if not how can someone get something like this started?
