Javier, are saying the pumas (mountain lions) avoid this area or that they avoid all the towns but are attracted to this area?

Javier, interesting. I googled Legends of Nahual. and found they are Middle American legends originating in the Spanish wars with the native Middle Americans. it Mentioned Guatemala. I assume the Point treasure is somewhere near there and you are looking for Spanish or Mayan treasure. Am I correct?

"The most popular legend says that during the battle against the Spaniards, his spiritual guide (his nahual), a quetzal bird, accompanied him. When Tec?n Um?n was slain, his nahual died of sadness and stained its breast with the hero's blood. From that day on, all male quetzals bear a scarlet breast and their song has not been heard since. "

the word "nagual" or "witch" or "sorcerers" are the adjectives used by people of the towns that are interviewed, they report that some people have the ability to morph into animals or balls of fire, but in all cases, meet one of them results in physical or emotional harm that caution should be exercised.
Indeed, the treasure would correspond to the plantations after the Spanish conquest, so between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
My theory is that I found some more ancient site in later post I will show the stones that I found myself as a first hypothesis, I have found some sites of the first inhabitants of the place they started using stones as tools (was Neolithic? )

javier, You be careful wandering about in the wilderness. Keep a watch for those nagual.

I would like to see the neolithic artifacts you found and see hear your hypothesis.

There was lots of gold in that part of Mexico in the 15 century. good luck with your search.
