Yes, definitely a good idea. It's very irritating being halfway through a wind, concentrating really hard so I don't lose count, and then the wife starts yelling something from the kitchen about how cute the dog is being
I have a few IC's laying around, as well as some 7 segment displays. If I have the right combination of bits and pieces I'll make a digital counter for it. I'm not sure I have a microswitch though, so the project might be on hold until I can get out to Fry's electronics.
It will be a really simple setup, and I'll probably just leave it on a breadboard rather than messing with circuit boards, soldering etc.
I'll post pics and a schematic once I get it done.
