denizen, Its been my experience that the best place to go looking for anything is where others have found it. i'm sure there are lots of old mines in the mountains near there. Good luck with your hunt and have fun what ever you do! gambol

Haha, you know.. I was wondering that same thing: "I bet they think I'll hit 25, download the heck out of heck, and then 'Take the money n run! woo hoo hoo! (guitar solo)  Cool '"
Nope, I bought a TGSL kit from silverdog and will post the build as i go along. Least I can do for the help I've already received here. I'm reading thread after thread and will only talk when spoken to! HA, just kidding. I'm not that young.

Can't wait for it's arrival. I'm an impatient person.

Anyway, I'm from the Wasatch Front area in Utah. Grew up in Southern AL though. How's that horrid heat down in Arizona? I personally can't wait for Autumn when the pears ripen and the leaves turn warm hues.

Horrid pretty well sums it up.   We're calling for record highs this week.   (in some ways that's kind of good, though, so many folks got some kind of bug that puts a chill in their bones that walking out of the air conditioning into 115o+ F (46.1 C) heat can actually feel good for a few minutes.   At least we don't have the humidity that Alabama has (even in the height of monsoon).   I did a few years of outdoor toil in Birmingham and Montgomery in my younger days.

Stay involved in the discussions and you'll be surprised how quickly you learn to tell the good tips from the bad ones.

oh wait... I've gotten bad tips?!  Shocked lol.
Alabama could get pretty hot (I lived relatively close, or on the Gulf Coast though so it wasn't that bad). But nothing compared to when i was in Texas. my gosh.. I literally went delirious a few days. Some days i thought i'd die of heat stroke: 107 with humidity. i had troubles remembering to stay hydrated at times.

This year's weather is bonkers. This past winter snowed like crazy and it stayed. There was still snow on the mountains in August here. Then Spring decided to play hookey with Ferris Beuller and then Summer hit hard. Wish i had a pool..

Welcome from the Blue Mountains of northeastern Oregon.  By now you seem to be pretty familiar with the forum, posting, etc..

The weather here in Tampa has finally broken. The hurricane in the Atlantic is sucking all the moisture out of the atmosphere and it is a mear 87 F at 3:00 pm down here with RH of about 60. Weeee what a relief. I'm going out MD if it holds.  Smiley gambol
