Gold Mountain Boss

[waveing]Hello,I have just found your web site.It was a pleasant surprise.I have a bit of a story that got me here....
Back in the late 70's my grandfather and I bought a Gold Mountain Boss metal detector together.He bought , I tagged along.We used it a little together but he was a very busy man.
Ten years ago when we lost him ,I was given the detector.I tried it out and it still worked.I stored it in a safe place (after removing the batteries)because I had become a very busy man myself.
Now..the kids are leaving home ,I have a little more time.I took out the detector and have been able to really enjoy some me time!
I found this site looking for a manual for this old detector.Hope to find it.The tips and encouragement will be invaluable.My grandfather and I were alone so we floundered.Then went to get some flounder at the fish house.

Ok the Boss was some how connected to Garrett in the early days.

I think that this Garrett VLF/TR Ground Hog manual may be of help.

Hey Pa , I can see why you would be a detector.If you are that UPS man in the picture,then you pass mysterious packages all day long never really knowing what goodies may lie just past the paper barrier.
