Now where did you get that bit of information?  It used to be 15, but the site owner decided to be nice and dropped it five.   One more of your marveously friendly posts and your there, but I can tell you right now the last time I checked, there was nothing in the download site for really large coils like you're looking for.   There's a whole lot of useful stuff there, and some very good projects, but I doubt if any of it is likely to satisfy you.....although some of the existing posting in the "Fossils, Meteorites, Rocks & Gems" board might point you in the right direction.

well,...I'm sorry I didn't make you happy and so, you had to complain.
I'll be more sensitive to your wish's in the future. Your happiness will be on my list of concerns.

Bitburaggie....it was the third comment on the page that rejected me for a download. The info I need may not be here, but that doesn't mean I'll walk away with nothing. Just size up something maybe? IDK, but if I can get the info, I'd be happy to post what I find here. I'm determined to do this and I'm not about to give up on it. It should be rather simple and straight forward, I would think....we'll see.

As it has been said, it's 5 posts.
There are no hoops, it's like most forums and message boards, a small formality to prevent spamming, bots, and other unsavoury things in this world of cyber nastyness.
You might only want some information and not to socialise, but to charge in and ask for what you want then complain because it isn't handed to you on a plate is just a little bit rude.
Take your time find out how the boards are laid out, what subjects are discussed and what information is available to you. Not everything is set out, ready to print off or down load, a lot of the good information is in posts as part of conversations and discussions.
This is a message board for sharing and discussions, not a information drive through. there could be someone here that might have the solution to your problem, but they might not be here right now. Take your time, say hello, have some patience, and you might find what you need.

The bad thing is there is a thread here that has the plans for a tow-able detector that is just what he is looking for but no one would go look it up for him. NO HELP FOR CRY BABYS>
