Hello redlady, and Welcome

from Utah! My dad was in heavy construction for over 20 years and dug up a lot of dirt. And, in those years came home with bottles almost every day. He accumulated probably a dozen or so gunny sacks full of them then sold them all off about 10 years ago in bulk for only $400 to an antique dealer! I wish that I could have had a few of them but that's how it goes. Be sure to post your finds on the 'Today's Finds' thread in the forum with pictures too! I'd love to see some of those different bottles you dig up!

I have a Garrett Euroace and find it a useful starter machine within budget, just to see if you take to the hobby. I used to collect bottles years ago in the UK and enjoyed diving in the English Lake District for them. I still have a few left Hamiltons and Half Hamiltons etc. My favourite is a Schweppes embossed half Hamilton very clean as it was deep in fresh water. Good luck Mac
