I understand a few were found in Iraq  (and of course there were the bunch recovered in Greenland after years of being buried in snow and ice) but for the most part we don't bury them here in the US.

Thanks for welcome Smiley

Yes there are crash sites here...

There are stories among older people about different German and Russian planes shot down during 1944 and 1945...

There is supposed to me A "Messerschmitt Bf 109" in fields close to my town, and Russian Yak near same location.

Would be a nice find...

No leftovers from 1999 Smiley (those were all quickly picked up.)

So far we found some weapons like machine guns, bayonets, and helmets...

Pretty impressive to find something that was buried for more then 60-70 years...

We plan to build either Sniffer XR-71 or a Delta-pulse detector...
Looking for best schematics and description now...

Crystal mountain ahhhhhh I miss that place. When I was at alert one of my jobs was to go to the top of crystal mountain and remove some satelite dishes??? Wink We were on 4 wheelers took all day to get up there. Man when we got up there I have never seen anything like it, huge crystals everywhere we were running them over. some were 2-3 feet easily mostly clear but there were coloured ones. I was 19 at the time and in the infantry so I didnt care about them then, but now I think about it all the time. It suxs that you cant just plan a trip there because alert is only a fly in and its locked up tight. I had to get major security clearence to get there when I was in the army. Its on the northern tip of ellesmere island way past the arctic circle, I dont even know if crystal mountain is on any maps.

popmilo are you gonna post pics of your digging hunting. My dream is to dig ww1 ww2 stuff over seas  Shocked
