How are you going about it know?

Gold Pan?

Detector only?

The Spirral Pans work good on some types of gold.

I've got a Garrett pan set and a whites GMZ, also have an EZ Sluice(not very impressed with the sluice).  I've been told that the GMZ is great for nuggets and flakes but not much so for flour gold.  The spiral pans seem to be great for flour gold. I can't seem to figure out how to search the forum for threads about specific things.  Is there a search function on this forum that I'm missing?
