Hi Monkey's Girl

I'm a Victorian. Spend a lot of my time in the Triangle with my wife. If you and your husband would like info or help with gold detecting shout out.

Ps. Forester, search the DPI site for info on Victorian National Parks. You might be somewhat surprised with your findings.

regards

CS

G'day CSHarp,

mate with the best will in the world I'm mystified by your mentioned of the DPI (Department of Primary Industries)?  Just how the hell do they fit into this thread or into the topic in any meaningful way?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hi Forester,

On this site people like to learn, being from experienced people or people with knowledge or any other form.

In Victoria "National Parks" can be prospected.

I was merely mentioning the 'DPI' site for you to investigate prior to you posting.

I know a hell of a lot more than you think, as i have owned mines, Leases for both Gold and Copper and members of my family are employed by government departments of the DPI.

Regards

CS

Well G'day CS,

I'm still at a loss to know exactly what you're referring to.  At no time have I denigrated your knowledge of mining or prospecting.  I also believe that members of this forum will learn from what they read.  Nor have i, to my knowledge, made any derogatory remarks at all with regard to the National Parks (Victoria) organisation.

CS, can we put an end to this discussion?

Regards

Forester

Camping in the forests is permissable here - provided good sense is shown re fireplaces etc - but not in the 'national parks' which at this time are 'no go' areas.  This could change with the arrival of the new coalition Victorian government which seems to be keen to roll back most of the garbage the 'Greens' were pushing.

Forester
