Thank you Sean.

I started detecting in the early '80s, but stopped for several years as my work was interferring with my detecting. Now I am going to retire soon and wanted to get back into detecting.

As for my primary interests, I just like being outside and what I find is not as important as the fun of the hunt.

Outside is good. Work and school are interfering with my outside time and the end result is never good. Soon someone will find me balled up in the fetal position in a corner crying.

Greetings to you from Pennsylvania.

I just drove through New Mexico a few weeks ago. One thing I didn't know about New Mexico is that once upon a time there were volcanos there. I saw the lava deposits along the roadway. I was on a business trip so I wasn't able to stop and explore. I am looking forward to another trip there when I can stop and enjoy the area.

Yep!  20 miles from me there is some hot springs.

Water comes out of the ground at 120f.
