It's Haslett Brothers, Doing some research I found some interesting facts.  Wyatt Earp had a ranch or property in that area as well as the Clantons. You must remember this is right near the old smugglers route out of Mexico..

Let me know when you're heading towards Hachita/Old Hachita. I've been out there half dozen times. There is a lot to see in the middle of nowhere! Yet about 500 people used to live there. Copper & Turquoise mines still waiting to be explored. I also have a list of mines with their coordinates if you like metal detecting the mine tailings.

Yes, i had a gold claim there for several years, then sold it.There is a lot of history down in that corner of the state, though you'd never know it by looking now.. Send me an email and I will tell you more of what I have in mind when we go..
