Hi I am a new member and new to detecting. I have a bounty hunter 2200 and am eager to understand detecting so I can upgrade to a better detector and have fun hunting with my kids. I will be here to learn and ask questions as much as possible, so any info will be much appreciated. thank you.

Hello and Welcome to Thunting.com, Your BH is a good maching to learn on, use it often and learn it well,
Make a list of features you like and don't like, this will help you to decide what to get next,
Join a local MD club, or at least talk with some of the members, find out what works best for your area,
and check with your local MD retailer, if u can find an honest sales person, ask them questions get to know them and find out what machines sell best in your area and for what you are looking for.
