As I recall the school was torn down because of it's age there is a plack there that tells the dates the school was there. I will have to take another look.

Look on youtube.  Try typing Garrett AT PRO.  The ACE 350 is a Ace 250 with some small added fetures.  Not trying to tell you what to buy but if all you can get is the Ace 250 go for it you will not be hurt at all with that machine, it is a top of the line machine.  With that being said, if you are thinking of getting the Ace 350, I believe you should go one more step and get the AT PRO.  If I was to do it over I think I would have had to have the AT PRO.  I think I will get one in the future. trashdigger

Welcome from New Mexico!  The ACE is a getter machine.  You may want to take a look at the New 350 that just came out.     Welcome, Welcome!

Greetings from Australia!

As many here have pointed out, the Garrett entry level machines are great options for you. The Ace250 or Ace350 will do you good service for your entire life if you treat them well.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
