I would like to keep this topic going a bit longer - why? - because I need to build up the number of post I've made so that I can get access to the files hidden to me connected with the build a pi detector for $50.

There is something going on here that I don't understand - on the last post I made it states that my activity is now 10% and that I have made 2 post. Well that's wrong - I've made more than 2 posts, and 10% of 25 is 2.5. I have made, well just guessing, without going back to count them, at least 7 or 8 posts, which is much more than 10% of 25.

So what's going on?

I'm usually not this pedantic about trivial details. In fact the only reason I'm bringing it up is because I need to make more posts, and I can't think of anything else to write about.

   Won't work......what you need to do if you want to build your post count is join in the discussions on other boards.
   Posts to the New User Introductions and the Birthday Greetings don't count toward the required posts count.   The idea is that the download section should be for members who contribute to the forum---and unfortunately, too many people do "cut and paste me too" type messages in those two forums just to inflate their numbers so they can "game" the system and get to the Downloads board quicker.
    Given the number of boards we have covering as wide a collection of subject as they cover, getting 25 posts is easy.   Just find a couple of topics that interest you and join the discussion.   And if you can't find one, start one on the appropriate board.   Odds are you'll have 25 posts before the weekend is half over.
