Very true. But this is the very reason that we smart older guys have grandchildren. We can send them out to dig while we watch! If you don't have any, rent some. They're terrific diggers. And with your level of expertise guiding them, who knows what you'll uncover as a team!

Aw, heck, if I lived near you I'd ask you to come along just for an afternoon out!

I have a grandson who has dug for me, for several years. In fact, more than one grandson.. Do you want to see pictures of their digs?
In fact the 19 year old has more miles with me than most adults have in their travel log.. He's been to both costal regions, every southern state and the eastern seaboard all the way to Penn. We were in Calif and Nev in June, saw Dr. Roush and several other detectorist while there...

Easier said than done. These darn legs just don't want to work sometimes. LOLL At least not much.... Haven't yet learned how to run a detector while in this wheelchair.
