Other than DETECTING=That's my full time hobby/lifestyle,  yeah- i shoot slingshots, and make a few whenever mood strikes me, this one is of Black walnut, shoots very well pulls 21 pounds, and i usually shoot bout anything laying around. Geezers got weird  hobbies. Shocked

 Clapp Fight Cool slingshot, man. I've got some slingshot stocks cut from naturally occuring branch forks---haven't gotten around to placing bands on them yet. Where do you get the bands? Someone told me the postal service used to allow folks to get a few of those flat bands--purchase them. But I'vew not checked on that yet.

The bands,  i got from a guy-Flatband slingshots- (kinda makes sense) he has web pages, but you can buy the latex at medical supply stores, it's the same kind of stuff they  wrap round your arm when taking blood pressure, what I have is .050 thick and 1" wide tapered to 3/4 at the fork, the latex is cheap, can also get latex exersize bands at wal mart and cut to size, it's in colors even
and cheap, cut em to size Wise
