i emailed magenta electronics they said their PI is now discontinued for an update.thank you for your reply

Thanks for the update . For years they sold 2 different PI models . Here are the original 2 project folders and the pic documentation file for good reading material .

i know Eugene has experiance with this detector so could you or anyone tell me what size wire to use for a 13in coil / how many turns have worked for you?or could i just buy a minelab mono coil

Helo NC DD . It seems 11 inch PI coils are kind of an Industy Standard from most manufacturers , not 13 inch . Buying a Minelab coil might be expensive unless you find a used one . Here is a Great article you may not have seen yet on PI coil winding . You can make a 13 inch coil , just use less turns of wire than what is specified in the article .

Hello, have 4 questions on delta pulse/XR71:

1- about component TL062, is possible use TL072?
2- for the bc557 & bc546 is possible use 2n3906 & 2n3904 without lose functionality and performance?
3- when finally assembled one side pcb at the first start how set the position of the six potentiometers?
4- How match PR1 220K? (is x frequency setting?)
