You are not allowed to view links.Please Register or LoginGoldfields surrender 'nice' big nuggetDecember 20, 2006A GOLD fossicker in Central Victoria has found himself an impressive early Christmas present, unearthing a nugget tipping the scales at nearly 3? kilograms.The Central Goldfields Visitor Information Centre's co-ordinator, Anne Senior, said the fossicker had named the nugget "Slugger". She said the man, who did not want to be named, had been looking in the area for some time, and had brought the nugget into the centre to show staff.
