Its easy and using PVC can be done for around $100. No need to glue parts just use marine grease to put everything together and create a tight seal. I use corrugated hose to suck up the gold in behind large boulders in the strem and then blow into a 5gal bucket to be cleaned

Zounds a "C" note you must live in the high rent district.  I built mine with iny & outy ball valves for less than that, gonna try it out one of these days at the beach in the little pools that creeks emptying out onto the beach make.

When you live in the sticks everything is more expensive, no Home Depot unless you drive 2 hours one way or I probably would have spent around 50 bucks perhaps
