i have a question about my new fox....  did everybody that has one follow the directions and bolt the pump down?  my instruction booklet had pretty crappy diagrams, but from what i can tell it's showing the pump bolted through the tote box/carrying case.  i would hate to bolt it unnecessarily just in case i decide to set it up in a creek sometime..  so i guess my real question is do i have to bolt the pump or can i leave it sitting loose?    thanks ahead of time for your answers.. you guys on here are great, and i really appreciate the information i've gotten off this forum..   take care and happy hunting!!

I really like mine. It catches the fine flour gold (classify is the key) Running the same size matterial gives a better recovery. I have the "old" "A" frame and put my pump on the horizontal brace and do not suck up mud. Glad I bought it. I run off a 12v sealed battery and it will run it for almost 8 hours. then I hook it up to the battery charger my Grandfather gave me and the next morning it is ready to go again.

The real key is to CLASSIFY, CLASSIFY and CLASSIFY. You will be gald you got it.

I let my pump sit in the bottom. No need to bolt  it down or anything.  But, do not run the pump, without the nylon stocking filter over the end of the pump, or you will learn how to take it apart, and clean it.
