I have a Post Pounder Pipe. T Post Setting pipe with handles.  I have a Steel Bar from a Old Counter Weight as a Pistol/Pounder   Do I Have that Back Awkward?

Any way I can put material in it up to a lb or two and drop the bar about 4o times and I end up with Crushed powder .

Any more then that I have a Person with a Ball Mill to take it to.

All he charges is Electric and 1%.

Yes he Measures the Electric Used and last price was .13 cent a Kilo Watt Per Hour.

80lb cost me about $12.oo to powder.

Then I processed it like any other materials and got about $200.oo of gold.

He got his And I got mine.

I ended up with about $100.00 of clear and he made the rest.  After Digging and Transportation.

I was happy because I Had a Pile of the stuff.

Easy Digging Rotted out Mansonite.

It looked somewhat like this but much more loose.

I bought a few shares in a local mining corp. I may end up proposing that area to them, and settling for a modest percentage if they find it worthwhile to work on.

Smart move, if you can pull it up.
And you can always buy the Gold bug 2 and look for more down the track

Thanks for the advice guys. I did consider making my own rock-powdering machine and also priced a gas-powered model. The problem is this rock is very hard. Lots of back-breaking work to reduce it to bite-sized pieces.

In the first photo, my hand is in it for size reference. The second photo shows another slab which reluctantly yielded a thin piece of crust after I bounced the sledgehammer off it a few times. The experienced hard rock miners are probably right....this stuff is for the big boys with big toys, and I'd have less headaches by looking for placer deposits.

Was wondering how malleable this low karat stuff was. Used my sledgehammer head as an anvil and tapped some of the larger bits with another hammer. They flatten out quite easily! There's probably a lot of copper in it.

Grin Easier said than done, homie. Most slabs there would be hard-pressed to fit into a 3-foot culvert, and there's lots of sledgehammer bouncing to do before they'll fit in a 3 inch pipe.

That's good news.  As long as you can recover the copper also, that's a bit more money in your pocket....maybe enough to help sway that company.

Gold is Gold!

Here Placer Gold is above 20K all the time.

Balance Silver, Copper and Other.

Only a few Elements like to Compound with Gold.

Gold likes stuff like Copper, Silver is first in line.

Copper will do stuff like Bithmith, Silver will live with  Lead Gallana is more then 5% Silver but more lead.  and other so that can get it ticket.
