 Wire gold is somthing special, I think it needs specific conditions when it's first forming into wire. I know of an area for it not to far from where I am. Now im thinking I should do a bit more research into this  Cool

My brother lives in Boise, Id.  I go out there quite often, and have spent a good deal of time up in the Twin Springs area and would have loved to done a little prospecting, but was unable to on those times, but I am going out there this summer and can't wait to get back up in those mountains and drop my sluice in the creeks and and put my home made hand dredge to pumping!!!  I actually think that I'll stay a few nights at the Twin Springs resort....For those of you that don't know Twin Springs is about 2 hrs back country with a population of about 5!!!  look it up on the internet....all kinds of mining evidence in the area....big holes dug out in the side of solid rock walls 100 feet up from the river and 300 feet from the top???  How did they get down there to dig??? I just sat and wonderment!!!!
