Hi Matt, I haven't made one, but I've examined quite a few stamp mills at old mining camps. None of the tolerances were very exact. They all seem to work on the same basic principle......dropping a heavy weight from a height inside and enclosed space until the ore inside is broken up into small enough pieces to pass out of the enclosed space.
I'll look around and see if I can find better answers to the type of crusher you are trying to make just in case one of our higher volume processors doesn't come back with an answer.
